"“Five Star Service”"

This is a three star rated hotel in terms of facilities. The rooms are fine and kept scrupulously clean and the nearby beach facilities excellent. It is priced very competitively too. However the service is really excellent - five star in fact. Nothing is too much trouble for the attentive owners and staff and some of the best service I have ever come across in many years of travel. It's a pleasure staying here and is highly recommended as a result.

"“AMAZING Stay! Absolutely wonderful!”"

We stayed at two hotels during our trip to San Vito Lo Capo and we absolutely recommend you stay at Hotel Sabbia D'Oro. We had a fantastic stay there - Giacomo went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. He helped us pick a good restaurant, made reservations for us (and even came looking for us on the beach to let us know when they were made), helped us park our giant car and helped us plan our trip to Lo Zingaro (and even let us borrow an beach umbrella for our hike for free).

The hotel is run by a family (father and sons). Everything at breakfast was delicious (and homemade by one of the sons) - incredible pastries and cakes! We were so disappointed to have come before the restaurant had opened because we'd read amazing things about the father's cooking.

We started our trip at Hotel Mira Spiagga, because it was directly on the beach, but we had an absolutely awful stay there (the hotel was not any nicer, the woman who ran the hotel was incredibly rude and unpleasant, and they charged us for lots of little things that were free at Hotel Sabbia D'Oro). We were so relieved when we got to Sabbia D'Oro. Giacomo really made us feel at home and made sure our vacation was as wonderful as it could be.

"Italian adventure"

My daughter and I travelled to San vito lo capo for some sun and Italian life. Our holiday was mainly a success due to Giacomo at Sabbia D'oro , he took us to the beach to make sure the non English speaking life guard got us a sun bed , printed an translated menu for us every day . This young manager was my hero ! The sea was amazing!!

" “Italian Escape”"

A warm welcome from Giacomo and the staff , even showed us to the beach and hotel's sun beds.Beach Towels provided every day . Translated menu's for us , food lovely scillian dishes. Resort clean and beach and sea one of the best I've been to, best avoid high season as it seemed the whole of Italy were on the beach!
Everyone helpful to us English girls who only had a phrase book for help, as not many people speak fluent English it was quite amusing at times but added to our Italian adventure.
Would highly recommend hotel a little Italian gem, hope to visit again.

"Really friendly, family run business"

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel which is a family-owned business. The owner's son Giacomo looked after us very well and we really admired his enthusiasm and dedication to his work. We cannot fault anything except we would recommend they expand the selection for their breakfast as there is only a limited choices, which suited us because we wanted not to gain weight.
